Today we welcomed the p3/4 class from Orchard County P.S to our school for the second day of our Shared Education project based around the theme of 'Outdoor Learning'.
The children came prepared after collecting lots of leaves from the gardens of both schools. We left them to dry for a few days and used them today to make stained glass windows, showcasing all the colour and shapes of leaves in autumn.
Our main activity today was to make an autumnal wreath. Each group was divided into groups of 3 and all of the children worked very well together, creating lots of colourful arrangements we look forward to adding to the Shared Education display boards.
Well done to all of the p3/4 children, a great example of teamwork and inclusiveness??
