In Primary 5 we went on a journey to Thebes and met Tutu - a rich Egyptian lady who lived during the reign of Tutankhamen in Ancient Egypt. She showed us how the children played, how the people prepared for the afterlife and many items that the Egyptian people had in their homes. She was not very impressed with our bandage wrapping abilities and had a lot to say about our 'silly names and ridiculous beliefs'. We enjoyed making our own version of Egyptain treats and enjoyed eating them even more!
