Water Bus

17th Nov 2019

When the water bus visited, we were surprised by the facts that we learnt from Pat and John. The filtering process that our water goes through is amazing. It was interesting to see the things Pat showed us that were found in the treatment plant that had been flushed down the toilet....cotton buds, plastic ducks and  PHONES!!!!!

We definitely appreciate how lucky we are now we know that in some parts of the world the people only use approximately 9 litres of untreated water a day and in most cases they have had to walk miles to get it.

In school we are going to be careful when washing our hands and flushing the toilet so that we only use water with care. At home we are going to use a glass of water when washing our teeth.

We are looking forward to using our free water bottles.
