Our primary 7s had a great day as they walked to visit Canavan's Joinery, nearby our school. This is part of our end-of-year careers work, and we learned so much about what the company do! Lee guided both groups through some of the processes used in making fire doors, and had some very interesting facts and answers to give our children. Thank you to John Joe and Joanne who also spoke to the class and provided them with a treat bag to take back to school. It has been great linking up with some of the businesses and workplaces in our local area!
