A wonderful afternoon for our P4, P5 and P6 classes as they got to be the audience for our Primary 7 debate. This term’s topic was: “Does social media do more harm than good?”
We had two teams who battled it out with excellent debate pieces as well as a wonderful open discussion at the end.
The audience then got the chance to vote. With only 10 points between the two teams, the Green Team came out on top, convincing the audience that social media does do more harm than good. We think this is a great result as our pupils now will have lots of time to spend outdoors, reading, learning their key facts etc etc rather than spending time on the apps we discussed today😊😊😊😊
A huge well done to the Primary 7 class. Well done to the debaters themselves, the debate orchestrators, time keepers, IT support, vote counters, hall set up etc. You all work so well as part of a team!
