Jet2 come to Annaghmore

1st Jul 2026

Primary 7 were delighted to welcome Rachel and Adam from Jet2 at Belfast International Airport. Rachel and Adam spoke to the children about their careers as cabin crew, sharing valuable insights into their roles and responsibilities. They also explained the important safety procedures and checks that take place on board an aircraft before every flight.

The visit provided an exciting hands-on learning experience, as the children were given the opportunity to step into the role of cabin crew and demonstrate the onboard safety procedures themselves. This engaging session offered pupils a fascinating insight into the aviation industry and the skills required for a career in air travel.

Before Rachel and Adam left, pupils from other classes were also given the opportunity to  and ask questions about their jobs, life as cabin crew and working in the aviation industry. The children thoroughly enjoyed this question-and-answer session and were eager to learn more about the exciting opportunities available in the world of travel and aviation.

We would like to sincerely thank Rachel and Adam for giving up their time to visit our school and inspire our pupils. Their enthusiasm, expertise and willingness to share their experiences made for a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. ✈️😊
