What a wonderful celebration of the Sacrament of First Holy Communion this morning. Our children made us incredibly proud; reading, singing, and carrying themselves with such confidence and grace. Well done to each and every one of you!
A sincere thank you to our school chaplain, Fr John, for a beautiful ceremony filled with meaningful messages for us all to reflect on. Thanks also to Margaret for always ensuring the chapel is so thoughtfully prepared.
We are especially grateful to Mrs Kinsella and Kelly-Anne, who prepared the children so brilliantly for today. It truly showed as everything was perfect, and the children were so well ready for this special sacrament.
As always, our ceremonies would not be possible without the dedication and guidance of our wonderful Mr Hanna, who led the choir beautifully. Thank you to all the children who sang this morning, you were outstanding. A special mention to Grace and Alfie for their beautiful solo performances on the accordion and tin whistle.
Finally, thank you to our amazing school staff, who kindly provided a lovely spread for families after Mass. Thank you especially to Bridie for her delicious scones which always are a fan favourite. We are so fortunate to have such a caring and dedicated team who give so generously of their time for the children in our school.
We wish all our families a very happy day celebrating this special occasion.
