We are so delighted that this year we have invested in the wonderful Accelerated Reader Programme.
Accelerated Reader is a fun way to help children become better readers. After reading a book, they take a short quiz to show what they remember. This helps teachers see how well they understand what they read. Children can choose books they enjoy and try to reach reading goals, earning points and rewards along the way. It’s a great way to make reading exciting and help everyone improve at their own pace.
Mrs Kelly’s P6 class were so excited today to be the first children to choose their reading books today from our AR Library. Our other classes will be launched this week too.
We will inform parents on The School App how best to support their child’s AR journey at home.
