🌲✨ Feel Good Forest School Friday ✨🌲
What an amazing way to spend our Feel Good Friday for the month of April! Every child in our school fully embraced the great outdoors today by exploring, creating, problem‑solving and, most importantly, feeling good.
A huge thank you to our Eco‑Schools Co‑ordinator, Mr McErlean, and his wonderful Primary 6 class who planned, prepared and ensured the day ran so smoothly. There were nine fantastic stations for all classes to work their way around, including Natural Art, Den Building (a firm favourite with pupils and teachers!), planting our planter boxes, Musical Nature, a Nature Hunt, Tree Identification, S’more Making, Camouflage Teamwork and even Bird Watching… which quickly turned into spotting local hares in the neighbouring field!
We had the most brilliant day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the welcome sunshine. What a perfect reminder of how special outdoor learning can be! ☀️🌿💚
